The utter glory and heavenliness of God’s dear presence and fellowship was to be far greater than any dear woman could offer me.

But then I read the last part of the verse, "At your right hand are pleasures". It was then I could see that we need to be thrilled and overwhelmed with Jesus alone and that all the other blessings we have in life will come from His right hand. Next, God showed to me how wonderful a relationship would be once I was totally thrilled and overwhelmed by His love; it would be a relationship where I could give rather than be dependent upon my earthly love for happiness.

No Single person needs to be Unhappy as I was.

There is no need for anyone to be unhappy all the time as a single person. There will still be down days and times, for we are not permitted to be on a high all the time. However, to be beaten down and feeling down hearted because we still don’t have a dear spouse or friend can truly be avoided according to Psalm 16:11. I say this carefully, but also truthfully as one who has been hurt for many years, that the presence of God can lift you from hurt and tears to the heights of heaven.
