Isaiah 44:21 “O Israel, you shall not be forgotten by me”

God did not forget His chosen and nor will He forget His chosen children either.

There are singles who are the forgotten few. It seems that some don’t have that “instant appeal” as regards looks.
You perhaps see someone nice and they seem just the kind of person who you would love to know. Yet some how they just walk straight by you, as if you were just invisible.
You would love to make them notice you but perhaps you do not feel you have that natural charm or beauty. It can be very hurtful and also destroying the precious thread of self esteem.
But what encourages me is that the Forgotten or seemingly less blest few always turn out to be the very blest in Gods eyes. You see Abraham, Elizabeth, Hannah, Joseph, and others were the forgotten few. Everyone else was having their prayers answered and God seemed to really care about them, and answered prayers at a drop of a hat. But these folks prayed with deep crying and tears may be for years, through so much sorrow and trial. But the point I am getting at is that the seemingly forgotten few always become the mightily blest few, why? Because their waiting caused suffering, suffering produced prayer, prayer moulded their character and God used them in a greater way than there neighbours who had there needs met far earlier.
It often appears that “Good looking men and woman” stand a far greater chance humanly of finding a spouse very early on, but to find a man or woman of character will not be so easily found. I once thought I needed to find someone attractive but now I see their character as a far greater and important issue.
