Philippians 1:6. “I am convinced of this, that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Christ Jesus.”

He Has begun a good work in you and will finish it.

You have prayed about a spouse and you are sure that it is Gods will for you to be married.

The next step is preparation.
These are the words that came to me, words of comfort and hope.
You see the moment you started to ask the Lord for a companion, He heard you and started to prepare you for that day.
Daniel was in the same boat, he prayed and God heard him that very second but his answer didn’t come for 3 weeks.
God is preparing you for that special one that you wait and hope for, as you seek to get on with life in His power.
Ever tear and sigh in His will is one that beautifies your character for that woman / man you long for. The day will finally come when He our God will finish that work and you will receive. So don’t give in when you feel sighing and low, just press on and be strong and joy and happiness will come again as you wait upon God. I tell you, there are people who would rather marry a woman who has suffered years of hurt and inward pain than someone who has hardly even asked God for a spouse let alone waited.

Let the hurt you feel, make you more the special for that one you hope for.
