Do not Limit Gods Ability

Psalm 78:41. “They turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.”

You know at times we can limit Gods ability in our minds to provide our needs and of a spouse. It is so easy for us to think that we know how God will provide and try to work out how He must do things.

We probably tend to say I will only meet my future wife / husband in church or some other Christian gathering, but you know that’s not true.

You could be on your way to work and someone bumps into you, or a car is broken down and you stop to help, or may be someone is lost and comes to you for directions and they turn out to be your future spouse!. Perhaps you are on holiday somewhere and the tent next to you just happens to be a Christian, Gods way of provision is limitless, so take heart if you feel a bit down, who knows where God will provide.

God says “The Lord works in marvelous / mysterious ways” and He says “My ways are not your ways” His plans are above us.

How about exercising a bit of readiness of faith and next time you go on holiday, take some extra plates etc for that unexpected guest.
