Genesis 2:18. “And the Lord God said, It is not good for the man to be by himself: I will make one like himself as a help to him”

God makes a promise. He would bring someone like him, a human but more than that someone human it was to be someone to suit him in personality, emotions, intelligence and spirituality.
But look God didn’t give Adam this need right away, first God had a TASK fro him to do, and this was to name the animals.
When Adam finished doing Gods will then He BROUGHT eve to him.

The thought here is this:
We may long and pray for a dear spouse and friend, but Gods O.K I will bless you here as you wish but you must first do my will, and do my bidding.
The word says “Seek first Gods kingdom then it shall be added” and it says “After you have done My will, you shall receive the promise”.
You see God may have a deeper plan for you that means a long term wait while you go through trials and testing to make you refined ready for a special task. After this God will bless you. Hannah was the same, she would have a child but only after testing and trials. Indeed God gave her many more children.
So wait and serve God, and in His time He will meet your needs and longing desires. To have a comparable spouse prepared by God as you would have I am sure will be worth all the hurt and waiting.
