True Happiness

Many times people say I will be happy IF I have, WHEN I have, or When it is. Have you ever said that? Well I have in the past. Wouldn’t it be GREAT if we could really happy without DEPENDING on “Things” to make us happy? The “Tribe” wrote a song that goes “Only You can make me happy”

Well guess what? It is possible!

1st of all we need to see how God rates all this. You see when He created us, He made us to have an intimate and precious relationship with Himself. This is achieved through WORSHIPPING God. But in our materialistic world, the enemy has come in and said hey you, What you need is a spouse / girl / boy friend to make you happy or a good job, recognition, or whatever it may be.

God wants us to experience OVERWHELMING happiness and joy beyond all our wildest dreams. He wants to teach us and cause to experience that the greatest joy and thrill is simply to spend much time with Him, enjoying His company as if you were enjoying the company of your longed for boy / girl friend

2nd. God says “In my presence is FULNESS of Joy” hey what you know, the bible says it to. Where is Gods presence ? Well it can be any where but especially alone with Him, with your door shut.

3rd. David said “I was glad when they said let us go to the house of the Lord” Attending church is part of that experience so never make an excuse for not going.

I spent many years believing the enemies lies, He hurt me for many years, but man, you cannot imagine the joy I have now, that’s another story!!

True happiness is being FREE from the things around you. You need to INDEPENDENT not DEPENDANT upon them. I depended upon having a boy / girl friend wife/husband job or money to be happy, but God freed me from that. God wants us to GOD DEPENDENT. I see girls in our church up and down like emotional yo-yos because they depend upon there boy friends for happiness (boys to are like it) I’m not perfect, at times I am weak but I’m 100 times better than I was. I now know that having a spouse will NOT make me any happier than I am now nor any other thing of this earth. But it will enrich my life, and God says ASK that you joy may be full. Well I may feel full but there is still more to gain.
