This evening whilst having my quite time the Lord showed me in my minds eye a large boring looking stone, but then in a flash revealed to me that underneath that “uninteresting surface” was a priceless Ruby. What was He trying to tell me? Well then I saw this there was a table full of bright gems and next to it was a large dull smooth stone, people looked in awe at the gems, and without hesitation said I will have that one please. The auction carried on until the dull stone was left, finally one man said I will pay £50 for it. The man went home and started to work and GOT TO KNOW his rock, and BEFORE LONG he knew where to cut it right and polish it, and what do you know, it turned out to be the most expensive Ruby ever.

People can so easily look at a man / woman (looking for a spouse) and say wow, wow lovely and overlook the VERY BEST because they haven’t DISCOVERED their HEART.

They haven’t got to KNOW that person.
I believe that there are many lovely woman and men out there who would make lovely spouses, but people may be are looking at the outside and not giving God or them a chance to shine through.
So many people have low self image (I feel ugly unattractive because my nose is wrong, my teeth and nice, my smile isn’t cute etc) the GEM is his/her SPIRITUAL BEAUTY and PERSONALITY.

May be God has shown you your future spouse but you are only looking at the surface at the moment and not giving God chance for Him to show you how really nice that person is.
