Jeremiah 29:10. “For thus says the LORD .. I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place”

Jeremiah 1:11. “Then said the LORD unto me, You have well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it”

Some times God prepares our hearts for a blessing and gives us indications of an imminent blessing.

Jeremiah was a young man whom God spoke to and we can learn some encouraging lessons.

The first thing is in Ch1 is that God TOUCHED Jeremiah, in this case his mouth.

God did something to make him ready for the task ahead.

He put words in his mouth, and then he gave Him a “sign” in this case a branch, and says “What do you see”? Jeremiah sees a branch, and God says “You have seen correct, and I AM GOING TO HASTEN TO PERFORM MY WORD.

Later on down He says “Prepare Yourself” and further on God says “I Am with you”

Sometimes God does that for us, He allows things to happen to us and speaks to us through His WORD and then CIRCUMSTANCES and PEOPLE, to show to us that He is ABOUT to COMPLETE that which we have been praying about.
