1 Kings 19:18. “ I have RESERVED 7,000 that have not bowed to Baal”.

God could have that Special One Reserved For You.

What an encouragement. You know Isaac was 40 years old and His wife to be was hundreds of miles away being prepared and she was 19-20yrs old. When the time was right and the age right God moved. Rebekah was reserved for Isaac.

I want to encourage you as God did so for me when He showed me these thoughts.

Elijah was a man with real emotions and pain. He felt depressed and emotionally drained at times.

During his down time he started to question God and focus upon his own sorrow.

Doesn’t that sound like you and me at times.

He said “I am the only one left who loves You, and follows You” but God said, “No that’s not true, there are others, I have RESERVED 7,000 that have not bowed to Baal”.

Listen you may be saying now, there is no one any way, there is no one who will suit me.

God says “I am able to RESERVE a special one just for you, who will suit your needs, and personality as well as hers, please wait for Me and My time”

Don’t be tempted to give in and take second best. Don’t give in and marry or date a non-Christian (I could easily have given in by now) and don’t date a Christian girl / boy just to have someone when in your heart you know they aren’t really Gods best, because if you do, you could be dating my future wife, and denying me her while you do.
