The Appointed Time ~ The Best way

Genesis 18:14 “Is anything impossible for the LORD? At the time APPOINTED I will come back to you, and in about a year she will have a son.”

How many people spend their times running from one church to another, simply to search for a spouse.
I do not believe this is Gods way of His dealings in this matter.
You see our whole lives are BOUND by DIVINE APPOINTMENTS.

God has “Planned our whole life out” and every part of is set by appointments, of His time.

Job 14:5 “Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months is with you, and you have appointed his bounds that he can’t pass”
I believe that our whole life is bound by his time and will, of which some how has already allowed for our FREE WILL in the matter.
Searching out every place for that illusive spouse is a weary task.
Let me illustrate: In the countryside a bus only comes along ONCE in two days and at 9am. No matter how desperate I am to get into town, I will waste nearly two days of time if I rushed out to the bus stop every hour in hope that the bus may turn up.
That bus will only come at the APPOINTED time.
This is the same for us, if the Lord has a dear spouse you it will only happen at the APPOINTED time.
If you go from church to church to search for a spouse you will not only weary your self but waste precious time in which you could have served God at your own church.

The best way to meet a potential spouse is to be busy for God in your church, and be led by Him to go to places to have fellowship with other Christians. In due time at the APPOINTED time when Gods time is there you will meet Mr / Miss right.
If God leads you to join a dating site then do so, but if you join just because your desperate you may well find that you will have many false hopes and hurtful times, as I have learnt!
Habakkuk 2:3 “For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it testifies about the end and will not lie. Though it delays, wait for it, since it will certainly come and not be late”

Genesis 21:2 “At the APPOINTED TIME Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the time God had told him”
Romans 5:6 “For while we were still helpless, at the moment, Christ died for the ungodly”

You see God does everything in His time. The words says there is a TIME and SEASON under the sun, a time to sow a time to reap etc.
