Psalm 40:1-3 I waited patiently for the Lord’s help; then he listened to me and heard my cry.

You see I have been there and I am sure all of you have. The great lesson to learn is that there is HOPE with God. There is HOPE in ENDURING patiently the sad times we go through.

When we feel down and hurt we can CRY to God and that’s not simply a word but an emotional thing to, we can physically weep to Him with all our sorrows and hurts. The depression that pulls us down, He knows how we sigh. The emotional pain that grinds us within, He knows and FEELS how we feel. The bitter discouragement of seeing some kind of HOPE fading to nothing. The HOPE of a job, spouse, family, career, a friendship, that seemed as if God was doing a miracle and now its gone, yes God knows and feels.

This is the time we exercise FAITH. Faith in Gods word that says WAIT then God HEARS. God will bring you out of your PIT, and that mire that pulls all your hope away. He will PULL you right out and PUT you into the WARM SUNSHINE of His PRESENCE.

Better still He will give you a NEW SONG and you will be HAPPIER than ever before.

Your relationship with Jesus will be stronger, your love for Him greater and your Faith stronger.

So hang in there, Ive been there and proved His faithfulness time and time again. I know it hurts, yes really hurts when it seems that God doesn’t care and you feel so utterly weakened by the length and wait of your dark time, but JOY COMES in the MORNING.

He will cheer you up and lift you high above it all, just be strong and wait for Him and believe that He will help you, HE WILL.
