Mark 10:36 “What do you want Me to do for you?”
God will sometimes say to you “what do you want me to do for you”?
It is here we need sit down and think about what we are asking for. We have two people to whom Jesus said “What do you want”?
God gave them both the choice one asked for a prominent position in heaven, that Jesus had to say no to.
The other asked for his sight to be restored.
The first were PROUD in their request the second was HUMBLE.
The first wasn’t a need the second was a need.
We have a proud heart and a longing heart. You see it is the longings of the heart that Jesus was more interested in.
Bartimaeus dearly wanted his sight back.
What about us? What shall I do for you says Jesus?
Do you need to be healed from Low self esteem, Emotional Pain, weary depression, Despair, Rejection?
God who healed the blind man would so graciously say also to you, “What do you want me to do for you”?
Lord, you may say I dearly long for a spouse, a close friend. May the Lord say to you “I have seen you tears, I know your pain, be it to you according to your faith”.
